Therapy tools

The other day I got this cool new therapy tool. Its called a bio feedback unit. You attach electrodes to the skin over a muscle and the unit can measure the nerve impulses that go to that muscle. Healthy muscles and nerves have around 40-50 micro volts (µV). When I first got it I had to struggle about 3-4µVs in my bicept. Now (about 2 weeks later) I am up to 8-10µVs easily. You can actually see the muscle contracting!!!

In addition to that my shoulder muscles, particularly the anterior deltoid, are getting stronger. The sub-luxation is starting to go away. I can't tell for sure but my whole right side seems to be getting stronger and the muscles seem st be developing just a little. On the other hand maybe I'm just getting used to all the atrophy. However, I think that I'll choose to believe that the muscles are developing.

Regardless the effects of the surgery are very apparent in the bicep. Pre-surgery there was zero nerve impulse to the bicep.
