$600 for a keyboard?!

I just got the coolest thing. It's a one hand/two hand keyboard. The idea is that you keep your hand in the normal spot with your fingers on "asdf". For all the keys on the left side of the key board you type as you normally would. If you want to strike a key which is normally on the right side of the key board then you hold down the space bar and the keys on the right are mirrored over on to the left side. For example to type a 'k' you hold 'space' and strike 'd'.

This is very neat and already my typing is faster and more accurate. I don't have to hunt and peck any more!!! The one down side is that this thing costs $600! It's a good thing that I have Uncle Jive to buy things for me.

New Tricks

Every week or so I get a new trick. Its really kind of fun. I just discover that I can get a muscle to fire or can perform some movement that I previously thought was impossible. Way back in late May it was extending part of my fingers.

This week is probably the most impressive. I blogged about Mr. bicep and triceps the other week. This week it is even more impressive. I am able to get the bicep and the triceps to visibly jump and move my shoulder forward and out to the side! I can bring my arm forward at the shoulder about 30 degrees and bend at the elbow at the same time about 15 degrees. Then , wait for it, .... HOLD IT THERE!!! See my amazing art work?
